The wedding party
The ceremony and reception will be held at Alkina Wine Estate,
the beautiful vineyard Malcolm tends to.
Alkina is near Greenock in the Barossa Valley, around an hour from Adelaide.
Lodgings & transport
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, Greenock is closest.
You could stumble home if you felt like it.
Nuriootpa, Tanunda and Angaston are a little further afield but only 15 minutes by car. We’d recommend keeping your search within these townships.
There’s some adults-only glamping tents available at Tanunda Caravan Park, where a big group will be staying. If you’d like to grab one of these, get in touch directly with Emily, Malcolm or Jo.
For guests staying in the Barossa, we’ll help you get home after the party. Just let us know where you’re staying ahead of time.
What the hell is vineyard formal?
Think formal wedding attire, but ready to wander through some vines.
All festivities will be outdoors, so watch the forecast and be ready to lather on the sunscreen, bring a jacket or alternatively an umbrella!
It’s December in the Barossa, so who knows?!
Wedges or a chunky heel are a must. We’d also recommend a change of shoes for the gravel dance floor later on.
